It just ocurred to me that there was something alack on that planet. Then realization struck me: CLOUDS! There are no clouds!
Thenceforward I felt an incredible urge to add those fluffy accumulations of fog, and so I did...

no clouds huh? tsk tsk

nice catch on that one though lol

Oh well, you certainly know that "I have just comleted my pic and now I am going to upload it to Devart IMMEDIATELY! w00t!" kind of feeling. And in precisely that mood one can easily oversee things as ethereal and buoyant as clouds and suchlike...

Anyway thanks for the :+fav: and the comment :)

haha of course...that's a great feeling, it's like a drug to me :P

mmm...happens to me too often

you're welcome :)

you've got some nice planet work and good lighting going on in this work...one piece of advice if you want to hear it...the lens flare on the smaller planet...if you put it on another layar and use a radial blur, you should be able to get rid of, or make the orange and blue dots less harsh and keep the lighting at the bottom of the planet as you want...

keep up the good work and take a look at my gallery if you want

hrmm, i think you mean the flare on the larger planet? if so, i simply use an eraser bush to remove it
if you did mean that small flare at the bottom of the moon, its a star thingy.

nice job man, although:
your lighting on both the planet and moon are a little too bright, especially on the moon, as it is the one being occluded by the planet.
also, the atmosphere on the larger planet is a little too blue, maybe a darker blue-green as a suggestion

^__^

The problem is, that I actually wanted that flare to be there in order to achieve an effect similar to the lensflare in this masterpiece . But obviously you both are right, the best thing would be to remove it.
I think I will do v3 today
